I’ve used it at 8 to 10X speeds (the limit is basically how fast you can encode MP3) with the Audible player. I then use MP3 DirectCut to cut the book into 6 minute segments.

I like your method and tried it. All went smoothly until after I converted my first file. Tried to play it back and got nothing except the progress bar jumping. No sound.

Tried to go and convert another, but now can’t get the WMP filter to operate (no Audible chapter navigation window). Tried closing the app and trying again, then tried re-installing the filter, but to no avail.

Any ideas?

It was still available when I wrote the original post so perhaps a new version is on the way.
